Stephen Boruff, AIA, Architects + Planners, Inc. has been commissioned for the design of a 10,700 square foot, two-story fire rescue facility on a portion of an existing City park. The facility will include two bays for four trucks, private sleeping rooms, offices, recreation room, commercial style kitchen and miscellaneous support spaces.
The station is to replace an existing temporary fire station trailer located on the site. Scope of Work includes related site utilities, “convault” fueling station, visitor and staff parking areas, concrete service apron, curb cuts and emergency traffic signalization. As part of the enhancement of the surrounding park, a mini-soccer field will be added.
